Mission Statement

The Northern Colorado Rugby Club and Realities for Children are local non-profit organizations combining efforts to assist children in need in the community. The two organizations are dedicated to serving the needs of abused and neglected children in Larimer County.
Dedicated members of Northern Colorado Rugby and members of the (CPC) Corporate Players Club are harnessing their team spirit to volunteer their efforts to promote awareness and raise funds for children at risk along the Front Range.
Fundraisers sponsored by the Northern Colorado Rugby Club will assist Realities for Children in providing ongoing support for their children at risk programs.  An alliance between both organizations will bring awareness to a crucial issue in Larimer County.
Realities For Children Charities (RFCC) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to serving the unmet needs of abused and neglected children in Larimer County. The organization’s alliance with 150 local business members who underwrite the program administration and services, the charity is uniquely able to ensure that 100% of every dollar donated is able to directly benefit abused and neglected youth locally. Partnered in service with 18 local ‘Affiliate’ Youth Agencies RFCC is able to create an effective safety net of services for the most vulnerable members of our community, providing: Community Education, Youth Agency Sponsorship Support, Special Youth Opportunities and Emergency Funding making ensuring that no child is forgotten.
Rugby is one of the world’s most popular amateur games, played by millions of club members, college, and high school players. In then United States, Rugby players number in the thousands with over 1,400 rugby clubs nationally, and are the most popular participant club sport on college campuses.  The Northern Colorado Rugby Club was founded in 1978 and currently has approximately 45 participating members who train twice a week and during the season compete on Saturdays with other regional and national teams.  The organization provides an opportunity for youth and adults to become a part of a team sport that emphasizes discipline in physical training and altruism through community service.
